We went in July, and the restaraunt wasn't open! The bar wasn't really open, and tins of beer were brought from the kitchen.

Lovely helpful lady receptionist who seemed to do everything in this hotel.Fantastic little gem with beautiful views - ignore the exterior and go in and have a look - it's a real value for money 'gem'.
The road (n332) leading to the hotel is dangerous and not for 'walking' on - it's also tricky turning in and out of the lane leading to the hotel. No evening meal available - and breakfast (included in the price) was a little basic. However we had a lovely 'menu del dia' (12 Euros) at the restaurant under the supermarket - nice people and good ambience - also free wifi there.

We stayed out of season, and amazingly one lady was receptionist, bar worker and breakfast server, all in one. You had to go find her sometimes, but she seemed to work 24/7, and was always cheerful. As I said, amazing! The view from our room was quite stunning but we were on the 2nd floor. The lower rooms wouldn't have had such a view.
See above with regard to staffing levels!! The "breakfast" included in the price consisted of a glass of orange, one cup of coffee, and on two of our four days there, two slices of toast each. The other days weren't much more generous, with no choice.

The lady behind the reception was very nice and helpful. We had a nice view.
The matras of the bed was really hard. The hotel was a bit far from the centre.

Basic hotel past it's best in decor but clean and good value for money.
The location instructions on the website are wrong. They take you to a restaurant called Galera which is nearby.

The Hotel has a remarcable views over the coast together with the slopes of the mount.
The hotel rooms need renovation and the breakfast is poor. The parking space is very limited and does not allow good manouvers. The location of the hotel is convinient only to people coming by car.

A big thank you to Jorge and his staff. We had a wonderful stay and were made to feel most welcome. The evening meals were great and we will definitely be coming back the next time we are traveling in this area. The balcony views are excellent of Altea bay and the back drop of mountains make the hotel great value for money.

Good location with sea and coast view from balcony.
Staff took 15 mins to arrive at front desk when we arrived. Hot water took 16 mins to reach our room, and there was no water at all in the morning until 7.30. Breakfast was very basic and minimal.

The staff were really helpful and the hotel has a nice family run feel. The rooms were fine for the price and there is a bar and pool open pretty late. All in all a nice casual feel, great for a bit of downtime and good base to spend the days at the lovely Altea port beach which is about 25 min walk away.
The location is between Altea port and Altea town so while you can walk to the Altea port beach, Altea itself is a 10 euro taxi. That said, the Altea port beach is much nicer. Having a car at this hotel would be perfect. There's no wifi.
